PPC employees invade management meeting (Athens, 2/2/2008)

Around 10:00 in the morning, syndicalists gathered outside the Public Power Company central office buildings, where a contract among the PPC and the german RWE and greek Halyvourgiki was held, clashed with the riot policemen guarding the meeting, and invaded the building breaking through the main door.

During the clashes, the police chief had a heart-attack and was transfered to a hospital.

The management's meeting was postponed for the third time, after the intervention of syndicalists and employees.
