During a protest organised by the Thisvi Struggle Committe, where more than 300 local residents participated, at Nousa bay (Vathi) of Thisvi, "against the construction of power plants, an illegal port, and fencing public spaces and turning the area into industrial waste land", members of the committe and others dismantled a part of the fencing aroung the illegal port, constructed inside a public (and party archeological) area, in order to serve the circulation of merchandise (e.g. from the local tube industry of "Solinourgia Korinthou), polluting and damaging the area's natural world.
