Today 19/07 on 12.30, a new intervention was realised at the supermaket on the street corner of Kosmas Etolos and Pelasgias at Peristeri. Products of basic need were expropriated and then distributed to people at the popular market on Agias Triadas. The people were very welcome and the carts were empty within seconds.
On 19/6 GSEE (confederation of greek trade unions) realised a "protest gathering" against costliness, completing with audacity, the known for years, show of the bosses, having as spectators all the hopeless and angry people. From this carnival of GSEE couldn't be absent the fascists of LAOS (right wing parliament party) and also representatives of the Coalition of Greek Industrialists, that a few months earlier signed with the worker-paternalists the known labor treaty, for raises of 1 euro per day. Meaning, this protest against costliness was realised by all those that have convicted us into this pathetic way of life, with starvation wages, exhausting work time and unreachable prices of foods and other goods of basic need.
This supposed protest gathering of the bosses' minions, combined with all the recent facts (Zahopoulos' case, millions of bribes to ministers and other officials with the Siemens and Germanos scandals, continuous raises of PPC power cost and thousands of other tricks of the authoritarians for more "investments", more "antagonist economy" and money, more money!) have turned us outrageous. Only that this time, this so common expression seems to have a real meaning and this rage that now overcomes our fear in front of them, is ready to sweep along all of them leaching for so long on our lives, our blood, our sweat.
End of all the begging for wage raises and products price-lowering.
We negate charity and all poverty benefits!
It's time we take the situation and our live, into our hands!
